Donna and I did the same skills work but mixed up the metabolic condition (MetCon) part of the workout.
Mid-hang muscle snatch - 60% x 3 x 3 Matt:85# Donna:50#
2-position clean (floor, mid-thigh) + 2 jerk - 60% x 4 sets Matt: 115# Donna:50#
I am still going light just to see how my back handles the strain
MetCon - Matt
10-16-20 reps for time:
Kettlebell swings - 24kg
KB clean + 2 push press (each side) - 24kg
26:42 - This sucked badly, swings and cleans were all good but the push presses were a killer
I just checked the Catalyst site and I should have split the Cleans and Push Press reps up between each arm. Damn, thought it was too horrible to be true.- Donna

Love both the workouts here! Donna, I'll give that DL/burpee workout a shot, but I should probably scale down to 145# to be sure I keep my form solid. Let you know how it goes.
fyi, I got that metcon from crossfit watertown. Lisbeth used 150# I think her time was 7:16, I wanted to try to beat her. It was a good little metcon, I couldn't wait to try it. matt was there to coach me through my form.
