A bit late with this post but we don't have web access at the apartment in Sacramento yet.
Yesterday morning we headed across to CrossFit Battleborn to workout with Alena and her morning crew. We hit the workout with Alena first and then coached the 10am session.
The workout was "The Chief" 5 rounds at 3 minutes each with a 1 minute rest between rounds of:
3 Power cleans at 135/95# (60/38kg)
6 push ups
9 squats
Your score is how many rounds completed per 3 minute cycle - you will have 5 scores at the end of this workout.
Matt: 5-5-5-4-5=24 @ 60kg
Donna: 4-4-3-3-3=16 @ 34kg
Alena: 4-4-4-4-4=20 @ 45kg
Thanks Alena for a great workout and letting us play with your 10am class. (The pic is a bit fuzzy so we will do a retake at the games this weekend)
Then it was onto the road for the last leg of the trip to Sacramento, it was a quick trip out of Nevada and as we crossed the state line we hit our first California traffic jam :-)
We got to Sacramento and into our apartment without too many more drama's.
Today we headed to Santa Cruz to hang with Taz from CrossFit New Zealand and Pat Barbers dog Falcor.
