Kiwi checks on progress
With all the bits and pieces here it was time to install the pull up bar. It took 5 hours, a lot of minor adjustments and some cursing, but it is in and usable, even for muscle ups.
I am still not 100% sure of the height but it can be changed and we put some padding in place to save peoples heads if they get it wrong.
Thanks to Jason for all the help, I couldn't have done it without you there.
After the bar was in we hit the wod from Mad CrossFit, 10 Rounds For Time:
15 Deadlift 135#/95#
15 Push Ups
Matt: 11:09 Rx
Jason: 20:39 Rx
Donna: 21:19 95#/Mod Push Ups
Then it was time for a beer. Try Peak Organic Pale Ale, good stuff if you can find it.

Just to Make sure you CAN jerk in there, we used Jason as a test dummy. He is taller than you and has long monkey arms...no offense Jason. Come over Friday night and break it in! We'll supply the paleo meal.
The place looks like its really coming together nicely!
I think the protective matts on the beam above the pull-up bar is a very nice touch btw
@Matt, I may be getting involved with someone in opening up an affiliate gym in the Westchester NY area - if would be willing, I would love to hire you to make some plyo-boxes / misc equipment. You can get ahold of me on FB or @ DPGallagher81@gmail.com
sorry I'm having trouble figuring out your blog, this is Dan from CFW
And whats this 4/4 kettlebell workshop?
Hi Dan, I figured it was you from the gmail address. Yes I would be up for plyo boxes and any other work you want done. The Kettlebell clinic is being run for a college in NY State. 3 hours covering basic and intermediate skills. I will send more details on gmail
